'Anyone who has a loved one affected by Alzheimer's, dementia or stroke or, just as we all will, growing older, will know the joy of seeing them respond to music, particularly music that has a special meaning for them. For that short period of time their personalities shine through once again. To have that music performed with the energy and virtuosity of the professional, and communicated with warmth and at very close quarters, encourages a level of response that has to be seen to be believed. Sian and Stephan, the double act behind 'At Home At The Theatre', which takes live variety theatre to the care sector, are seeing that response during their shows on a daily basis.
'Sian and Stephan's uncompromising commitment to quality ensures that 'At Home At The Theatre' are leading the way in entertainment in the care sector.'
Dowager Duchess of Hamilton, Kay Hamilton
'Sian and Stephan are going that extra mile to make sure their performance is at a quality you would expect in a theatre'
'Their shows are such a tonic, they should be available on the NHS.'
'Whenever I feel a bit low, I'll think about this afternoon and it'll cheer me up'
'The way you interact, getting residents involved . . . it improves their feelings of self worth
'Not only do the residents and staff look forward to your visits but now visitors to the home are making an effort to be here during your shows'
Absolutely terrific'; 'Perfect'; 'Hope that they come back'; 'Very good, would love more of that'
'I am longing for your next visit'
'I think they should be on the television'
