OKVT was made possible by a grant from The National Lottery Community Fund, and support from Spark in Craigshill, Livingston, who generously donated the use of their premises for rehearsals.

OpporCHANCEity Knocks Variety Theatre Company is an inclusive company.  While it has amateur status, it aspires to work to professional standards, with all members receiving training in their chosen discipline.  Choreographer Morven Miller teaching the rudiments of line dance (above).

Training is provided by At Home At The Theatre's Creative Director Sian Ross,and Technical Director Stephan Vincent, with masterclasses by visiting creative practitioners, including puppetry expert Steve Ross of Talking Heads Puppets and Morven Miller, Choreographer.

It isn't all hard work at OKVT!  We value our members and never more than on their birthday.  There's always time for cake and a catch up.  

OKVT will present their first production, 'We Love Variety!' at Howden Park Centre, Livingston, on Sunday, 16 June 2024. Tickets are selling very quickly, so hurry!
