At Home At The Theatre's (AHATT) aim is to increase access to the arts, in particular theatre, for participants and audience. AHATT does this through its four main areas of work: 'OpporCHANCEity Knocks Variety Theatre Company' (OKVT), which provides training in performance and technical theatre to adults aged 16+, with no upper age limit; 'It's Your Turn' performance workshops, fully inclusive and offering 'in the moment' experiences; 'Party Pieces' participatory theatre workshops co-created by people with dementia living in residential care; touring variety shows and pantomime, performed in theatres and community venues throughout the country, at an affordable price.
At Home At The Theatre was founded by Sian Ross and Stephan Vincent who, since 2002, have toured more than 4,500 variety shows to audiences in dementia care settings and the wider community.
Sian and Stephan have worked in theatre and television and are dedicated professionals.
Sian Ross is a Master of Research in Performance, having previously graduated with 1st class honours from the BA (Hons) Performance at University of the West of Scotland (UWS). Her chosen postgraduate study was participatory performance co-created by people living with dementia in residential care, for which she won the UWS Award for Bes

Her chosen postgraduate study was participatory performance co-created by people living with dementia in residential care, for which she won the UWS Award for Best Applied Arts. Sian is a classically trained lyric coloratura soprano who trained in opera and drama at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague, continuing her vocal studies with renowned singing coach Joan Alexander in Glasgow.
Stephan Vincent is a theatre historian and Member of The Society For Theatre Research. He is a postgraduate Master of Research in Performance and graduated with 1st class honours BA (Hons) Performance. Previously, he studied theatre arts at Langside College and acting at the Scottish Actors Studio and is an experienced lighting designer
Stephan Vincent is a theatre historian and Member of The Society For Theatre Research. He is a postgraduate Master of Research in Performance and graduated with 1st class honours BA (Hons) Performance. Previously, he studied theatre arts at Langside College and acting at the Scottish Actors Studio and is an experienced lighting designer, theatre technician and former lecturer in Television Studies. Stephan also brings his skills and experience in video editing to AHATT.
